Yes — the program is STEM-designated in the US. For international students, STEM designation signals academic rigor and a research-heavy, evidence-based curriculum. It also matters for any learners considering a US career pathway (OPT extension eligibility). For all learners, it reinforces that this is a serious, applied, analytical degree — not a soft-skills certificate.

STEM designation = research rigor + career pathway signal.

    1. My GPA is below 3.0. Am I still eligible?

The standard minimum is a 3.0 GPA (or equivalent 55%+ aggregate). Applicants below this threshold can still be considered on an exceptional basis, provided your overall profile is strong and your Statement of Purpose (SOP) clearly articulates your readiness, growth trajectory, and reasons for the gap.

Lower GPA can work if your SOP and profile make a strong case.
