Anna University's Centre for University-Industry Collaboration (CUIC) facilitates a structured and transparent placement process for final-year UG and PG students across various departments. The procedure ensures that students are well-prepared and aligned with industry requirements, leading to successful placements in top-tier companies. 

Here is the Placement Procedure:

• Student Registration: Students must register on the CUIC placement portal using a professional email ID. Upon registration, an OTP is sent for email verification. The portal serves as the primary platform for all placement-related communications and updates.  

• Company Registration: Recruiting companies interested in hiring Anna University students need to fill out the 'Know Your Recruiter' (KYR) form and submit it via email. 

• Pre-Placement Activities: CUIC organizes skill development programs, career guidance sessions, and mock interviews to prepare students for the recruitment process. These initiatives enhance students' functional, soft, and behavioral skills.  

• Placement Drives: Companies conduct recruitment drives on campus, which may include online assessments, group discussions, and personal interviews. Students are shortlisted based on their performance and eligibility criteria set by the companies. 

• Internships and Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs): CUIC facilitates internships (with stipends) for UG/PG students in their final semesters. Successful completion of these internships may lead to Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) from the respective companies.  

• Offer Acceptance and Documentation: Once a student receives a job offer, they must accept it through the CUIC portal. Necessary documentation and formalities are completed to finalize the placement. 

• Post-Placement Support: CUIC provides continuous support to placed students, assisting with joining formalities and addressing any post-placement queries.
